Please Read Our policies before booking below

At our Salon, we thrive on providing each and every client who walks through the doors the best possible service we can offer. That’s why we have some basic policies in place to ensure everyone enjoys their Un-Stripped experience. They’re not rules, they’re just some general things to keep in mind to make sure your experience with us goes as smoothly as possible.

Arrival time

Please try to arrive 5 - 10 minutes early to allow time to unwind and fill out the necessary forms to receive your service if not filled out online. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened or could be canceled in order to accommodate the appointments following yours. Depending on how late you arrive, your technician will determine if there is enough time to fulfill your appointment. Regardless of the length of the service actually received, you will be responsible for the full service price. Please plan accordingly, and if you are running late please notify your technician as soon as you can.

CANCELLATION/NO SHOW

To be effective and fair to all clients, a 24 hours notice is required to cancel your appointment. If you do not give 24 hours notice or no call, no show your appointment with a cancelation notice, you will be charged 100% of the cost of your service to the card on file. A card on file is required to book an appointment, but if for some reason there is no card on file, the fee will be applied at your next appointment. ​ Please keep in mind a late cancellation or no show prevents us from filling the spot last minute.

PMU BOOKING POLICY

All PMU Brow services require a 30% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to book. A card on file must be present, and the remaining balance will be due on the day of the appointment. If no card on file, or deposit does not go through, the appointment will be canceled. You will be granted one reschedule with ample notice. After that if the appointment is rescheduled again, you will be required to submit another 30% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, with no reschedules granted. Thank you for understanding as this is a 3 hour time slot blocked off for the service that is too difficult to fill last minute.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW

SALON LOCATION

Please keep in mind we are located upstairs at 825 Main Street, Martinez, Ca 94553. We are above the restaurant Sal's. You will see our white door at the right of the building. Please keep in mind we do not have an elevator, but do have a hand rail per ADA compliance.

EXTREME LASH LOSS

If you have experienced over 70% of lash loss or are past your 3 week fill window, it will be considered a new set due to the amount of time it takes and the need to rush our work. A good tip, if you can count how many lashes you have left it is a new set. Please book accordingly, or notify your technician.

SKIN ALLERGIES

Skin allergies are extremely rare and your safety and care are the utmost concern. Only the highest quality products and the most up-to-date techniques, certifications, licensing, and sanitation protocols in the industry are used. Un-Stripped Lash + Brow Bar is not liable for a reaction due to any of the products used during your service. If you are concerned, a patch test several days before your appointment is recommended.

FIXES + REFUNDS

If you experience a major loss of lash extensions within the first 72 hours, or an allergic reaction, please do not hesitate to contact us within the 72 hour period. We will provide a complimentary 30-minute service to fix/remove the lashes. Refunds will not be granted unless otherwise noted (Exception on defaulted retail products). Services are charged based on the time and products used and can be affected by your lifestyle, aftercare, and body chemistry.

GUESTS + PETS

Please arrive with no guests, children or pets as our salon is small and space is limited. We work with sharp tools around the eyes, small objects, chemicals, and have an unmonitored staircase that can be deemed unsafe for small children or unconfined pets if ingested, disturbed, or unwatched. We are strictly focused on your service, and are not responsible for monitoring or disciplining children. Remember most of our services require your eyes to be closed. Pets are strictly prohibited in the salon environment unless the animal is a registered service animal. No emotional support animals per California State Board of barbering and Cosmetology and Contra Costa Environmental Health regulations. Un-Stripped Lash + Brow Bar is not liable for any injury caused to your pet during your service, and has the right to refuse service if other arrangements cannot be made. It is best to leave them at home!

PMU BROW + LIP TOUCH UPS

Initial 6-8 week touch ups are not included in the initial ombre, nano realism, or brow correction service. They must be booked and purchased separately, as we can not guarantee your body chemistry, healing, or skin reaction. We try our best to avoid the need for a touch up during the initial session, but oily skin, being a model for an artist in training, or lips do tend to need a 6-8 touch up.
